Joining a Third-Party Meeting (Teams, Google Meet, or Webex) from a Zoom Room

Zoom Rooms can join third-party video meetings. This allows users to connect to Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or Webex calls directly from the Zoom Room’s controller without needing to bring a laptop.

Joining a Meeting

  1. On the controller home screen, tap the appropriate platform:

  2. When prompted, enter or paste the Meeting ID (Teams), Meeting Code (Google Meet), or Meeting Number (Webex). Tap Join.

  3. If a meeting passcode is required, you will enter it and then click Ok (as seen in the screenshot below). 

    Skip this step if no passcode is required. You will automatically join the meeting after entering the Meeting ID.

  4. After joining, the following in-meeting controls are available:

Note: Microsoft Teams and Google Meet have been enabled for all Zoom Rooms. If you would like the button for Webex added to your Zoom Room, you can reach out to us at cmtshelp@jhu.edu.
